Admiral is a home appliance brand currently manufactured by the Whirlpool Corporation. Originally formed as a producer of consumer electronics in 1934, Admiral became a major TV manufacturer finally allowing them to branch out into major home appliances. They began manufacturing refrigerators, washers, dryers, freezers, dishwashers and much more and eventually fell into the hands of Magic Chef. Despite a few more change of hands, Admiral has continued to produce top of the line home appliances that are easily affordable.
