The broil element is located on the roof of the oven cavity to supply heat for broiling. The element measures 8-1/2 inches wide, 16 inches long, and the terminal depth is 1-3/8 inches. If the broil element is no longer heating or it has shorted out, then you will need to replace it. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the oven before starting your repair.
