This condenser fan motor is used with frost-free refrigerators with a condenser coil. When the compressor runs, so does this fan, circulating air through the refrigerator grille, cooling the compressor and condenser coils. This part also helps to evaporate excess water in the drain pan. If your refrigerator/freezer section is too warm you may need to replace this part. This is a genuine OEM part. When energized, the water inlet valve will release water from the supply line into the ice mold and the water dispenser in the refrigerator. If the ice maker is not making/dispensing ice, not dispensing water, or leaking, you may need to replace the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve is in the back section of your refrigerator and will need to be pulled out from the wall. Make sure to disconnect both the water and power supply before starting your repair. The manufacturer has redesigned the valve; it may appear different than the original. The updated valve has a new quick connection. To install the updated valve, cut the retaining nut off the existing water line and gently push into the new valve. This is a genuine OEM part.
