This newer-style terminal block kit includes two metal brackets, two pre-crimped wires with terminals, two ceramic wire nuts, a heat shrinking tube, and a mounting screw. This part is used to connect the wire harness to the surface burner element. If your element will not heat at all, or if it is not heating properly, it is likely an issue with the terminal block and it will need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power supply before starting your repair.

If your element is not heating, you may need to replace it. The manufacturer suggests replacing the receptacle at the same time you replace the burner element. This surface burner heating element with reinforced delta frame is six inches in diameter, has four turns and looped terminal ends. It carries 1250 watts, 240 volts and the center medallion is black in color. This element provides heat to the cooking surface on your range. If your element is not heating, shorted out around the coil, or the terminal block shorted out and damaged the ends on the element, you may need to replace this part.
