The float is used to help monitor the water level inside of the dehumidifier bucket to prevent water from overflowing onto the floor. Once the water level reaches the maximum in the bucket, the float will signal the float switch to shut down the dehumidifier to avoid the bucket from overflowing, causing water to spill on to your floor. If your bucket is overflowing you may need to replace the float. The float is black in color, made of plastic and measures approximately 4” long. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power before starting the repair.

The dehumidifier humidistat control, also known as a humidity controller, can sense the humidity level and will shut off the dehumidifier once the humidity level drops to a certain level. The humidistat control will need to be replaced if the dehumidifier won't shut off. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dehumidifier when starting your repair. This is a genuine OEM part.
