The ice maker fill tube is used to supply water to the ice maker during the fill cycle and is located in the back wall of your refrigerator/freezer. The fill tube is 10-inches long and includes a compression nut and a tube insert. If the fill tube is cracked or leaking water you will need to replace it. This part is white in color, made of plastic, and is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power and shut off the water supply before starting your repair.

The water tubing is made of plastic and goes between the water valve and the back of your refrigerator. The tubing is 72-inch in length, 1/4 inch in diameter, and comes with 2 inserts. This tube may be longer than the original tube and may need to be cut to fit your appliance. The water tube transports water to the ice and water dispensers. If there is no water going to the ice maker, your refrigerator is leaking, or if the ice and water dispensers are not dispensing properly, you may need to replace this tube kit. This part is an OEM part directly from the manufacturer. Please remember to shut off the water supply and to disconnect the power to your refrigerator before starting your repair.

This part is used to help tell the icemaker what to do - it turns the timing cams and the ejector blades. It also controls the heater, the water inlet valve, the cube size, and cube ejection. The control assembly is located under the white cover of the ice maker. If the ice maker is making too much ice or not making ice at all, you may need to replace the control assembly. The motor is not sold separately. This is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure you disconnect power to the refrigerator before starting your repair.

The single water inlet valve is used to supply water to the water dispenser and the ice maker. The valve is 60Hz 120 Volts and 35 watts. If your ice maker isn’t producing ice or the water dispenser not dispensing water, the solenoid might have gone bad and will need to be replaced. This valve includes 1/4” tubing and a plastic union. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power and the water supply to the refrigerator before starting the repair.

The ice maker thermostat, also known as bi-metal device, regulates and controls the activation of the icemaker ejection cycle. The thermostat lets the ice maker know when it is cold enough to produce ice. If your ice maker is not making ice or not dispensing ice, you may need to replace the thermostat. This is a genuine OEM part and comes with two retaining clips. Please remember to disconnect power to your refrigerator before starting your repair.

This ice cube mold and heater assembly has a flake resistant surface with separations that mold eight ice crescents and is used with modular style icemakers on some refrigerators. The mold heater is an electrical device that thaws the ice quickly, so it can be released from the icemaker mold. If your ice maker is not making ice you may need to replace this part.
