The main reason to replace the light lens cover is if it is cracked, damaged, or missing. Make sure the lens cover is cool to the touch before you begin this repair. To remove the lens cover, simply turn it counter clockwise until you can remove it. Replace it with a new cover and turn it clockwise to lock it into place. If your oven is too hot, the element will not heat, or there is little to no heat when baking, you may need to replace your bake element. The 2100-watt element is located on the bottom of the oven and it supplies heat while baking. When replacing the element, make sure to hold the wires forward so the wires do not fall back through the rear of the oven. Please remember to disconnect the power to your oven before starting the repair. This bake element is a genuine OEM part.
