When energized, the water inlet valve will release water from the supply line into the ice mold and the water dispenser in the refrigerator. If the ice maker is not making or dispensing ice, not dispensing water, or leaking, you may need to replace the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve is in the back section of your refrigerator and will need to be pulled out from the wall. Make sure to disconnect both the water and power supply before starting your repair. This cover holds up the top crisper drawer, and has drawer glides molded in it. This upper crisper drawer cover is a manufacturer-approved replacement part for your refrigerator. It has drawer glides molded into the frame but this part does not include the glass cover. To replace this part, lift out the glass cover and snap out the drawer frame. Snap this new frame cover into place and replace the glass.
