The line fuse, also known as a ceramic fuse, is used to protect your microwave when there is a power serge by shutting down the microwave to avoid damage. If your microwave has no heat, won’t turn on, or the touch pad is not working properly, you may need to replace the fuse. This part measures approximately 1.25” long and is sold individually. The microwave light lens covers and protects the light bulb from being damaged. The main reason you would need to replace the light lens cover is if it is cracked, damaged, or missing. Be sure that the lens cover is cool to the touch before you begin this repair. The light lens cover is made of glass and is approximately 6 3/8” x 2 3/8”. The door interlock switch (normally closed) works in conjunction with your microwave operation. The switch will prohibit the microwave from starting when the microwave door is open. If your microwave won’t turn on or there is no heat you may need to replace the switch. This part measures 1.5” L x .75” W, 250 volts, is black in color with a red dot and is sold individually.
