This part helps maintain a constant temperature within the appliance. The temperature control thermostat regulates the temperature inside the refrigerator. It turns on and shuts off the compressor as needed to maintain the set temperature.

The defrost timer acts like a clock, continually advances and alternates between activating the cooling cycle and the defrost heater. If the refrigerator is too warm, the freezer section is too warm, or the freezer is not defrosting, you might need to replace the defrost timer. This defrost timer is a genuine OEM part. The 115-volt evaporator fan motor is in the back of the freezer section and circulates air over the coils. These coils will convert the heat into cool air, which is then circulated. If your freezer is noisy or too warm from the motor not working, you will need to replace this part. It is suggested to replace the thermistor when replacing the evaporator fan. This is a genuine OEM part – note the screw holes in the motor are not threaded from the factory, use your old screws.
