The door hinge attaches to the side of the door allowing the oven door to open, close, and stay open at an angle. If your door is not opening and closing correctly you may need to replace the hinge. The oven sensor detects the temperature within the oven cavity and sends the information to the control board. If your oven is not heating evenly, has little or no heat when baking, or is too hot, you may need to replace the sensor.
