The door hinge attaches to the side of the door allowing the oven door to open, close, and stay open at an angle. If your door is not opening and closing correctly you may need to replace the hinge. The terminal block provides a way of connecting individual electrical wires and offers protection from electrical surges, voltages and currents. This part will also allow you to attach the power cord to the inner wiring of your range. If the terminal block has shorted out or the range is not getting the proper power, this part will need to be replaced.
