Spray paint is designed to help cover up any scratches or chips on your appliances. This spray pant is white in color and comes in a 12 oz aerosol can. Please make sure to clean the area that requires touch up to avoid any old paint or dirt getting into the fresh paint. When using the spray paint it is recommended to wear gloves and a protective mask. Make sure to shake the can well before using and to spray a few inches away from the surface for best results. This part reverses the motor direction when the trach compactor has reached the top of the drawer. If the cycle is not being completed properly, is making loud noises, or does not shut off, the top limit directional switch may need to be tested by using a multimeter to test the continuity. If there is no electrical path in the switch, it will need to be replaced.

If your trash compactor ram gets stuck or does not stop at the end of the compacting cycle you may need to replace the power nut. The power nut is intended for use with trash compactors. This part is attached to the side of the ram where it is threaded. When the power screw rotates, it is fed through the power nut which pulls the ram down to compress the trash. This power nut is white in color and made from plastic. Please remember to disconnect the power to the trash compactor before starting your repair.

This part is located at the bottom of your compactor and helps the drive motor power the compacting ram. If the drive gear is broken, damaged, or noisy, we suggest replacing it right away to avoid causing any more issues with your trash compactor.
