This E-line assembly comes with a felt strip and insulators already attached. Heating elements are strung with a coiled wire made of a nickel and a chrome alloy. This wire receives, but resists, a controlled electric current and as a result, the wire heats up. The heat produced is used to dry the clothes in your dryer. If your dryer has little or no heat you may need to replace the heating element. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to shut off the power to the dryer before starting the repair.

This 3-coil 5500 watts heating element with housing is used to produce heat to dry the clothes in your dryer. The heating element is strung with a coiled wired. The wire receives, but resists a controlled electric current causing the wire to heat up to dry your clothes. If there is no heat or it is taking too long to dry, you may need to replace the heating element. Check for a blown thermal fuse or thermal cut off. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting the repair.
