Drain Valve Shaft Seal

The grate shaft seal, also known as drain valve shaft seal, is a seal for your dishwasher drain pump valve. The seal forms a watertight seal around the flapper valve shaft to avoid water from leaking on to the floor. The seal is black in color and measures .25” in diameter. When doing the repair, you may need to cut off the push-on nut, if so a new one will need to be ordered. Please remember to shut off the water supply and disconnect the power to the dishwasher before starting the repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

If your dishwasher is leaking around this adapter, check the connection to ensure everything is fitted tightly. If there is a problem with the adapter, make sure to disconnect the water supply to your dishwasher before completing the repair.
