The line fuse, also known as a ceramic fuse, is used to protect your microwave when there is a power serge by shutting down the microwave to avoid damage. If your microwave has no heat, won’t turn on, or the touch pad is not working properly, you may need to replace the fuse. This part measures approximately 1.25” long and is sold individually. The thermal fuse, also known as a safety thermostat, protects the oven range from overheating. If the oven range overheats, the fuse is blown to cut power off to the oven range. Once the fuse has blown, the oven range will no longer heat and the fuse will need to be replaced. The thermal fuse measures approximately 1” and can also be used in a microwave, check your model number. This is a genuine OEM part.
