The temperature sensor detects the temperature within the oven cavity. If your oven is too hot, not heating evenly, or has little to no heat when baking, you may need to replace the temperature sensor. The sensor is usually located in the back of the oven. The meat probe sensor is used to cook more accurately by checking the internal temperature of the meat to ensure proper temperature is reached during cooking. If the meat probe sensor shorts out it can cause the wrong information to the control board and the sensor will need to be replaced. This part is brown in color and approximately 25 inches.
