This is a replacement ice maker assembly. The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve and will freeze until ice cubes are formed. Once the water has been frozen the cubes will be ejected from the mold in to the ice bucket. The ice maker will continue the process until the ice bucket has reached the limit. If your ice maker is not making ice you may need to replace this part. Disconnect the power and water supply before starting your repair. This ice maker is a genuine OEM part. NOTE: This part has been updated by the manufacturer and does not include the cover, ice level arm or the wire harness. You can reuse those from the original ice maker.

Water Fill Cup and Bearing

The ice maker fill cup and bearing dispenses the water into the ice mold during the fill cycle. If your ice maker is not making ice, is leaking, or the cup or bearing is cracked, you will need to replace this part. This part is three inches long, white in color, and is made of plastic. This is the replacement ice maker auger and crusher blade assembly for your refrigerator. It is approximately 15 inches long and 7 inches wide. The ice maker auger sits within the ice maker assembly and rotates to push the ice from ice container into the dispenser chute. If your ice maker bucket is full, but ice is not being dispensed, it is an indication that the auger is damaged. Be sure to disconnect power from the refrigerator before you repair the auger. Ice Stripper

This part strips ice from the icemaker mold during the ejection cycle to prevent ice pieces from falling back into the mold. Once removed from the mold, the ice pieces are then deposited into the ice bucket ready to be dispensed. If your ice maker is not making any ice you may need to replace this part.
