Door shelf retainer bar end cap (endcap handle)

The door shelf retainer bar end cap connects to the retainer bar on your refrigerator’s door shelf, and attaches it to the refrigerator door. If your shelf retainer bar has become disconnected, a damaged end cap could be the cause. To remove the end cap, first unhook the release tab on both ends of the retainer bar. Slide out the bar and the end caps, and slide out the defective cap. Now, simply replace the end cap and snap the bar with end caps back in place on the refrigerator door. This part is made of white plastic and is sold individually.

Bi-metal defrost thermostat (bimetl-def)

If ice is building up in your freezer or if your freezer is getting too warm on the defrost cycle you may need to replace the bi-metal thermostat.

Refrigerator door switch (light switch)

Door switch turns the light off when you close the door.

Icemaker

This ice maker kit includes everything needed to install a new icemaker in your refrigerator if it did not originally come with one. The kit includes the ice maker, ice bin, inlet valve, fill tube, hardware, 4 wire harness, connector for freezer, and instructions. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting your repair. Touch-up paint - white (tuchup)

This 18 ml bottle of white appliance touch-up paint is used to cover scratches or marks on your appliance. The white touch-up paint can be used on refrigerators, microwaves, ranges, clothes dryers, and freezers. This is a genuine OEM part and includes a brush applicator. Please remember to wear gloves to protect your hands when applying this paint.

Crisper pan (pan crisper)

This crisper pan, or drawer, is made for your refrigerator. The drawer has a controlled environment to ensure a proper humidity level to keep your produce fresh for longer. It is clear in color and made of plastic. It is approximately 13 inches by 10 inches at the base of the pan.

Refrigerator door shelf rail (door trim)

Spray paint - 12 oz. - white (spray)

Spray paint is designed to help cover up any scratches or chips on your appliances. This spray pant is white in color and comes in a 12 oz aerosol can. Please make sure to clean the area that requires touch up to avoid any old paint or dirt getting into the fresh paint. When using the spray paint it is recommended to wear gloves and a protective mask. Make sure to shake the can well before using and to spray a few inches away from the surface for best results. Please wait until the paint is dried before using the appliance. This is a genuine OEM part.

Door shelf trim - narrow (door trim)

This door shelf trim snaps into place on the door to hold items on the door shelf. This genuine OEM door shelf trim is approximately 22 inches long and made of white plastic.

Door trim

This part is the door trim, also known as the door shelf bar, and it is built for your refrigerator. It is made of clear plastic and is approximately 26 inches wide and 5 inches deep. It is made of clear plastic, and allows food and beverages items to stay in the freezer door shelf. If your current door shelf bar is broken or missing, you will need to replace it. Many of our customers have rated this repair as easy. Simply lift out the old bar and replace it with a new one. Be sure you can properly close your refrigerator door after the repair is complete.
