Replacement ice maker (icemaker asm. Model 106.482394)

This 8-cube ice maker is used to help produce ice for your refrigerator. The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve and will freeze the water until ice cubes are formed. Once the water has been frozen the ice cubes will be ejected from the mold into the ice bucket and will refill with water to repeat the process until the ice bucket is full. This ice maker does not include the bail or shut off arm. You can reuse the arms for your old ice maker or you can also order them separately if required. It does come complete with flat and round plug wiring harness, the mounting hardware, and the instructions. The harness can be reused. This ice maker will not fit refrigerators that have the ice auger mounted on the door. If your ice maker is not making ice you may need to replace this part. Please remember to disconnect the power and water supply before starting your repair. This ice maker is a genuine OEM part.

Defrost timer (timer, defrost (paragon))

This 120 volt, 60Hz defrost timer acts like a clock, continually advances and alternates between activating the cooling cycle and the defrost heater. If the refrigerator is too warm, freezer section too warm or freezer not defrosting you might need to replace the defrost timer. This is a genuine OEM part. Disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting the repair.

Condenser fan motor kit (motor (includes illus. 29, 31))

This condenser fan motor is used with frost-free refrigerators with a condenser coil. When the compressor runs, so does this fan, circulating air through the refrigerator grille, cooling the compressor and condenser coils. This part also helps to evaporate excess water in the drain pan. If your refrigerator/freezer section is too warm you may need to replace this part. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to your refrigerator before starting the repair.

Hose clamp (clamp)

This hose clamp expands from half an inch to an inch in diameter. It is made entirely of metal and is intended for use with Maytag washing machines to secure the end of the drain hose to the pump drain port. Please make sure to disconnect the power to your washer before you start your repair. This hose clamp is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Single outlet water valve kit (valve (dole))

When energized, the water inlet valve will release water from the supply line into the ice mold and the water dispenser in the refrigerator. If the ice maker is not making/dispensing ice, not dispensing water, or leaking, you may need to replace the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve is in the back section of your refrigerator and will need to be pulled out from the wall. Make sure to disconnect both the water and power supply before starting your repair. The manufacturer has redesigned the valve; it may appear different than the original. The updated valve has a new quick connection. To install the updated valve, cut the retaining nut off the existing water line and gently push into the new valve. This is a genuine OEM part. Water inlet hose washer (washer)

The washer is black in color and works in conjunction with the fill hose in your washer. This washer helps by creating a watertight seal to avoid leaking. Over time the washer may be worn down or damaged which will allow water to pass through and start leaking and will need to be replaced. This part measures 1-1/16” x 5/8” and is made of rubber. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Light bulb - 40w (bulb)

This light bulb is found behind the controls box in some refrigerators.

Speed nut (nut)

The speed nut works in conjunction with the condenser fan motor. The fan blade attaches to the condenser motor shaft and the speed nut secures the blade to the motor. Make sure the speed nut is properly attached and secured. If the part is damaged, worn, or will not tighten, you will need to replace it. This part measures 1/4-20 inch. Sold individually.
