Light bulb - 40w (bulb)

This 40-watt light bulb has a standard screw-in base. It is used in many different appliances. If your current bulb is burnt out or broken you will need to replace it. This light bulb is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Defrost timer (timer, defrost)

This 120 volt, 60Hz defrost timer acts like a clock, continually advances and alternates between activating the cooling cycle and the defrost heater. If the refrigerator is too warm, freezer section too warm or freezer not defrosting you might need to replace the defrost timer. This is a genuine OEM part. Disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting the repair.

Evaporator fan motor kit (motor, fan)

The evaporator fan motor is in the back of the freezer section and circulates air over the refrigerator coils. These coils will convert the heat into cool air, which is then circulated from the freezer section to the fresh food section. It is suggested to replace the thermistor when replacing the evaporator fan. This kit comes with two mounting grommets, two sleeves (not to be used on porcelain models), two #8 mounting screws, and a push-on fan blade. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting your repair.

Metallic screw that is less than an inch long. Does not include the plastic washer.

Hinge washer (washer)

The hinge washer works in conjunction with the door hinge on the refrigerator door. This part is white in color and measures approximately 0.75” in diameter. If the refrigerator door is making noise opening and closing, you may need to replace this part. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Door gasket (gasket, magnetic)

This door gasket is used to seal the freezer door when closed.

Leveler

This is an OEM part that is made of metal and sold individually. The leveling leg is generally used with refrigerators, dryers, freezers, ranges, cooktops, and microwaves. The leveling leg is meant to keep your appliance steady and level to the floor. If you notice your appliance is uneven to the floor it may need to have the leveling leg replaced. You will notice that the bottom of the leveling leg has a smooth surface to ensure moving your appliance does not require as much effort. This part screws into a pre-drilled hole underneath the appliance.

Filter drier tube (drier)

The filter drier tube with system access port, works in conjunction with your refrigerator by filtering the refrigerant that travels through the seal system of your refrigerator. This part measures approximately 10” long and is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure to disconnect the power before starting the repair. Please note it is recommended to have a service technician install the filter drier tube because it involves recharging and recovering refrigerant in the sealed refrigerant system.
