Light bulb - 40w (bulb)

This 40-watt light bulb has a standard screw-in base. It is used in many different appliances. If your current bulb is burnt out or broken you will need to replace it. This light bulb is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Defrost timer (timer, defrost)

This 120 volt, 60Hz defrost timer acts like a clock, continually advances and alternates between activating the cooling cycle and the defrost heater. If the refrigerator is too warm, freezer section too warm or freezer not defrosting you might need to replace the defrost timer. This is a genuine OEM part. Disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting the repair.

Ice maker water fill tube kit (fitting)

The ice maker fill tube is used to supply water to the ice maker during the fill cycle and is located in the back wall of your refrigerator/freezer. The fill tube is 10-inches long and includes a compression nut and a tube insert. If the fill tube is cracked or leaking water you will need to replace it. This part is white in color, made of plastic, and is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power and shut off the water supply before starting your repair.

Refrigerator door switch (switch, rocker)

Door switch turns the light off when you close the door.

Evaporator fan motor kit (motor, fan)

The evaporator fan motor is in the back of the freezer section and circulates air over the refrigerator coils. These coils will convert the heat into cool air, which is then circulated from the freezer section to the fresh food section. It is suggested to replace the thermistor when replacing the evaporator fan. This kit comes with two mounting grommets, two sleeves (not to be used on porcelain models), two #8 mounting screws, and a push-on fan blade. This is a genuine OEM part. This fourteen cube ice cube tray is eleven inches long. It is all white in color and is made entirely of plastic.

Hinge washer (washer)

The hinge washer works in conjunction with the door hinge on the refrigerator door. This part is white in color and measures approximately 0.75” in diameter. If the refrigerator door is making noise opening and closing, you may need to replace this part. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Door shelf end cap (retainer, trim)

This piece of end cap trim can be used for either the refrigerator door shelf or the freezer door shelf.

Single hex head screw (screw)

Sold individually. The size of this screw is 1/4" hex head and 10-12 x 1/2".

Crisper post (post, crisper)

Cold control thermostat (themostat and barrier assembly)

This cold control thermostat has a temperature range from 36 degrees Fahrenheit to 17 degrees Fahrenheit and a capillary length of 26 inches.
