Multi rib belt - 92-1/4" (dryer drum belt)

This dryer drum belt has four ridges, three grooves, 1/4-inch wide and 92 1/4-inch long. The belt helps rotate the drum. If the drum does not rotate and you can still hear the motor running, the belt may have broken and will need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. Dryer thermal fuse (dryer thermal fuse, 195-degree f)

This thermal fuse is used in dryers as a safety mechanism that stops the flow of electricity to the motor circuit when a dryer overheats. This replacement part features two 3/16 inch terminals, and is sold individually. When this fuse is faulty, your dryer will not start or it will not heat properly. This is a one-time fuse, meaning it cannot be re-set. It must be replaced when there is no longer continuity between the terminals. It attaches to the blower wheel housing. Blown fuses can be caused by clogged dryer vents. We recommend checking to make sure all of the vents are clear when you perform this repair.

Heating element - 240v 5400w (dryer heating element)

This 240V/5400W heating element is strung with a coiled wire made of a nickel and a chrome alloy. This wire receives, but resists, a controlled electric current, causing the wire to heat up. The heat produced is used to dry the clothes in your dryer. If the dryer has no heat, takes too long to dry, or the heating element burns out, the heating element will need to be replaced since it cannot be repaired. This is a genuine OEM part. Dryer cycling thermostat (dryer operating thermostat)

The cycling thermostat with an internal bias heater will continually cycle the heating element off and on to maintain a constant inner temperature in the dryer. This cycling thermostat has a limit of 155 degrees Fahrenheit and a differential of 25 degrees. Meaning that the heating element will cut out at 155 degrees and cycle back on once the internal temperature drops by 25 degrees. This is a genuine OEM part. Rear drum support roller kit (dryer drum support roller kit)

This drum support roller kit is used for square-ported model clothes dryers. It has a metallic bearing in its center. This support roller is used to hold the drum in place in the cabinet while letting the drum rotate on the support rollers. If your dryer is noisy, will not tumble, or takes too long to dry you might need to replace the roller. The kit is a genuine OEM kit and it includes two drum support rollers, four tri rings, and one retaining washer. It is recommended that you replace both rollers at once. Dryer high limit thermostat (dryer high-limit thermostat)

The three-terminal high-limit thermostat with a terminal extension arm acts as a safety mechanism that keeps the dryer from overheating. When the dryer temperature reaches 221 degrees Fahrenheit, the thermostat will shut off power to the heating element until it drops by 80 degrees Fahrenheit. If your dryer has no heat, takes too long to dry or the thermostat has shorted out, you will need to replace the thermostat. This is a genuine OEM part. Idler pulley assembly (dryer idler pulley)

The idler pulley wheel provides the tension for a multi-ribbed belt and helps the belt to rotate the drum. The drum will not spin if the idler pulley fails to put the correct amount of tension on the belt. The wheel is white in color and is made of plastic. If the drum will not tumble, is noisy, or will not start, you may need to replace this part. This idler pulley is a genuine OEM part. Drive motor with pulley (dryer drive motor)

This drive motor operates the dryer by turning the drive belt which spins the drum and will fit most Whirlpool incorporated dryer brands before 1996. Leveling foot (dryer leveling leg)

The adjustable leveling leg is used to support and keep your dryer level. It also allows you to adjust the height of your dryer. You may need to replace the leveling leg if one becomes lost, the thread is stripped off, or it is noisy during operation. The leveling leg is almost 2” long, white in color, and made of plastic. Roller support tri-ring (dryer tri-ring retainer)

The tri ring is used to hold the drum support rollers or the idler pulley onto the shaft. If your dryer will not tumble or is noisy, you may need to replace the tri ring. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Dryer lint screen filter (dryer lint screen (white))

The lint filter with handle is used to collect lint and debris as it passes through the dryer vent. It is recommended to clean the lint filter before every load. If your dryer takes too long to dry you may need to replace the filter. This lint filter includes a white handle and measures approximately 23 inches including the handle. Light bulb - 10w (dryer drum light bulb)

This ten watt appliance light bulb is two inches tall. It is used with both washers and dryers.

Dryer blower wheel

The blower wheel is a squirrel cage type wheel whose purpose is to move the air through the room or appliance. The blower wheel spins on the motor shaft to blow air through the dryer drum and out through the exhaust.
