Drive gear kit (ram drive gear kit, trash compactor)

This part is located at the bottom of your compactor and helps the drive motor power the compacting ram. If the drive gear is broken, damaged, or noisy, we suggest replacing it right away to avoid causing any more issues with your trash compactor. This kit includes the gears, washers, retainer clip, ram stop, and ram cam. This drive gear kit is a genuine OEM part, is white in color and made from plastic. Please remember to disconnect the power before starting your repair.

These tough Slip-N-Grip plastic compactor bags are used to hold the trash until you are ready to discard of your waste. The bags will fit most 15-inch rectangular compactors including Kenmore, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, and Jenn Air. The compactor bags are white in color and twist ties are included. The bags measure 15-inch wide, 33-inch high and they come in a pack of 15. This is a genuine OEM part.

Power nut (trunnion power nut for ram drive screw)

This power nut is intended for use with trash compactors. This part is attached to the side of the ram where it is threaded. When the power screw rotates, it is fed through the power nut which pulls the ram down to compress the trash. If your trash compactor ram gets stuck or does not stop at the end of the compacting cycle, you may need to replace this part. This power nut is white in color and made from plastic. Please remember to disconnect the power to the trash compactor before starting your repair.

Rotary switch kit (trash compactor start/stop switch kit. The start switch sends voltage to the motor to start the trash compacting cycle. If the start switch is defecti)

This rotary on/off switch kit comes with an on-off rotary switch and two chrome knobs. The switch is used to power the trash compactor. Once activated, the switch will send a voltage signal to the motor to start the compacting cycle. If your trach compactor will not start or does not stop at the end of the compacting cycle, the switch may need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the trash compactor before starting your repair.

Screw, 8/18 x 3/8 (screw, 10-24 3/8)

Foot, front - single (adjustable leveling leg for washing machine. This leveling leg has a rubber foot.)

The adjustable leveling leg is used to support and keep your washer level. It also allows you to adjust the height of your washer. If your washer is shaking, vibrating, or moving during operation you may need to replace this part. This part has a rubber foot, almost 3” long and is made of metal and rubber. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Touch-up paint - white (white touch-up paint)

This 18 ml bottle of white appliance touch-up paint is used to cover scratches or marks on your appliance. The white touch-up paint can be used on refrigerators, microwaves, ranges, clothes dryers, and freezers. This is a genuine OEM part and includes a brush applicator. Please remember to wear gloves to protect your hands when applying this paint.

The compactor bag carrier is located under the plastic trash bag. It will fit around a trash compactor bag inside a 15” compactor and helps making removing the trash bag from the compactor easier with the easy grip handles. This carrier is bisque in color and measures 8” wide x 16” high x 11” deep. You should replace the bag carrier if it is damaged or missing. This is the bag carrier only, compactor bags are not included, they must be ordered separately. This is a genuine OEM part.

Drawer roller (track support roller assembly)

The drawer roller is used for your trash compactor. The roller attaches to the bottom of the lower frame to allow the container drawer to slide in and out easily. If the roller jams up, it can keep the drawer from opening correctly and you may need to replace the roller. This part measures approximately 1” in diameter and is sold individually. This is a genuine OEM part.

Directional switch (top limit and directional switch for trash compactor. This directional switch interrupts the flow of current to the motor when the compacting ram reac)

This part reverses the motor direction when the trach compactor has reached the top of the drawer. If the cycle is not being completed properly, is making loud noises, or does not shut off, the top limit directional switch may need to be tested by using a multimeter to test the continuity. If there is no electrical path in the switch, it will need to be replaced.

15 inch white plastic compactor bags - 60 pack (compactor bag, 15 inch plastic, pack of 60)

The tough Slip-N-Grip white plastic compactor bags are designed to prevent the bag from slipping down in to the compactor and come in a pack of 60. The compactor bags hold the compacted trash until you are ready to dispose of it. These bags measure 16” wide by 32” high and will fit most 15” rectangular compactors. This is a genuine OEM part.

Wheel assembly - kit of 2 (container roller kit, 2 per pkg.)

The wheel assembly includes two wheels for your trash compactor. The wheels attach to the bottom of the lower frame to allow the container drawer to slide in and out easily. If the wheels jam up, causing the drawer not to open correctly, you may need to replace them. This is a genuine OEM kit.
