Freezer door key (key, lock)

This white plastic freezer door key is used for most upright or chest freezers. If your door key becomes broken or lost it will need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. It is sold individually.

Defrost thermostat (thermostat-defrost)

The defrost thermostat snaps onto the top portion of the evaporator, it acts as a safety device and protects the evaporator from overheating during the defrost cycle. The thermostat can sense the rise in the evaporator temperature during the defrost cycle and cycles the defrost heater off after all the frost is melted from the coils. The defrost thermostat may need to be replaced if the appliance is experiencing temperature-related issues such as: too cold, too warm, frost buildup, not running, or running too long. This is a genuine OEM part. It is recommended to disconnect the power to your appliance before starting your repair.

Defrost timer (timer)

The defrost timer acts like a clock, continually advances and alternates between activating the cooling cycle and the defrost heater. If the refrigerator is too warm, the freezer section is too warm, or the freezer is not defrosting, you might need to replace the defrost timer. This defrost timer is a genuine OEM part. Disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting the repair.

These are used to hold your gasket in place.

Door gasket (gasket-door, white)

This white door gasket is used to seal the freezer door when closed to keep the cool air inside and the room air out.

Door light switch (switch-light plunger)

This is a switch for your refrigerator, but you may also know it as a door switch or a plunger light switch. This part turns your appliance light on and off as the door is opened and closed. If your current light does not turn on, it will need to be replaced. To make this repair you will need a Phillips head screwdriver, a putty knife, and a flat head screwdriver.

Fan motor kit (motor-evap fan)

This evaporator fan motor is located in the back of the freezer, and circulates air over the refrigerator coils. These coils will convert the heat into cool air, which is then circulated.

Door closing cam - white (ramp, closer, door)

Light bulb - 25 watt (light bulb/lamp)

This bulb can be used in either refrigerator or oven. It is a clear, intermediate screw-in bulb.
