Door shelf end cap - left or right side (door support)

This refrigerator door shelf end cap kit is to help secure the retainer bar in place on the door. The end cap can be used for the left or the right side of the door. The end cap is white in color and made of plastic. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

If your door shelf retainer bar is not staying in place you may need to replace the end cap. The end cap helps secure the bar in place on the refrigerator door. Defrost timer - 60hz 120v (defrost timer)

This 60Hz 120V defrost timer will cycle for thirty minutes after every eight hours of run time. You can turn the dial on the defrost timer clockwise to be able to advance it in and out of defrost mode. The defrost timer helps melt away any ice that may have built up on the evaporator coils. If your refrigerator/freezer is too warm or too cold, will not advance into the defrost cycle, freezer will not defrost, or it runs too long, the defrost timer may be defective and will need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting your repair.

Door shelf retainer bar - cut to fit (door rack)

This is a white cut-to-fit door shelf retainer bar that attaches to the refrigerator door to help hold in items in place. You may need to cut the bar to the size of your original door shelf retainer bar. If your door shelf is broken or lost you should replace it. This is a genuine OEM part.

Light bulb (bulb)

This 40-watt light bulb has a standard screw-in base and is used in many different appliances. If your current bulb is burnt out or broken you will need to replace it. This light bulb is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Run capacitor (capacitor)

The run capacitor, with new crimp wire connectors, is attached to the compressor and is 250 volts. It helps the compressor kick on and off while maintaining a constant temperature to keep things frozen in your freezer. If your refrigerator is too warm, will not start, or your freezer section is to warm, you may need to replace this part. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect power to your refrigerator before starting your repair.

Defrost thermostat (df limiter k)

The defrost thermostat snaps onto the top portion of the evaporator. It acts as a safety device and protects the evaporator from overheating during the defrost cycle. The thermostat can sense the rise in the evaporator temperature during the defrost cycle and cycles the defrost heater off after all the frost is melted from the coils. This limiter thermostat will cut out when the temperature inside your refrigerator reaches 55 degrees Fahrenheit and kicks back in when the internal temperature drops to 20 degrees Fahrenheit. The defrost thermostat may need to be replaced if the appliance is experiencing temperature-related issues. This is a genuine OEM part. It is recommended to disconnect the power to your appliance before starting your repair.

Fresh food door gasket (gasket)

This is a genuine OEM door gasket, which works with refrigerators.

Evaporator fan blade (refrigerator evaporator fan blade)

If your refrigerator or freezer is too warm or making noises, you may need to replace the fan blade. The fan blade attaches to the evaporator motor, which is in the freezer section, to help circulate the cold air into the refrigerator and freezer sections. The fan blade is white in color and made from plastic. This is a genuine OEM part. Please be sure to disconnect the power to your refrigerator before starting your repair.

Evaporator fan motor kit (motor evaporator)

The evaporator fan motor is in the back of the freezer section and circulates air over the refrigerator coils. These coils will convert the heat into cool air, which then circulates the cold air from the freezer section to the fresh food section. It is suggested to replace the thermistor when replacing the evaporator fan. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting your repair.
