Humidistat control (control-humidistat)

The dehumidifier humidistat control will sense the humidity level, once the set level humidity drops the humidistat will shut off the dehumidifier. This humidistat control will need to be replaced if the dehumidifier will not shut off. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dehumidifier when starting your repair.

Compressor start relay (relay)

The compressor start relay attaches to the compressor to help start the compressor motor and then shuts off as soon as the motor gets up to speed. The relay is black in color and measures approximately 1”. If your refrigerator is not running you may need to replace the relay. You can use a multimeter to check the continuity. The overload is not included with the start relay. The overload must be ordered separately. Please remember to disconnect the power before starting your repair. This is a genuine OEM compressor start relay.

Defrost thermostat (thermostat-defrost)

The thermostat senses that the heat near the cooling coils has reached the desired temperature.
