Washer outer tub gasket (o ring) (o ring)

This tub gasket, also known as an O-ring, is located between the front and rear outer tubs to form a seal to prevent water from leaking. This is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure you disconnect the power to the washer before starting your repair.

The water inlet valve gasket helps prevent water from leaking between the water inlet valve and the dispenser drawer housing. If your washer is leaking or filling slowing, the gasket could be worn or damaged and will need to be replaced. The gasket is black in color, made of rubber and measures approximately 3/4” of an inch high. Please remember to disconnect the power and water supply before starting the repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

Water level pressure switch (pressure switch)

This part is able to sense the water level in the tub. When the water reaches the desired level, this switch stops the water from flowing in the tub and then the washing program begins.

Water valve and dispenser assembly (dispenser assembly)

These valves are where the water supply from the house attach to the washing machine. You connect the hoses to the valve with fill hoses. The fill hoses should have screens installed in them to prevent debris from entering the valve and causing it to stick open or closed. Sometimes these valves are called mixing valves, because they essentially mix the cold and hot water together to create “warm” water. Another common term is water solenoid.
