Door handle (handle)

This part is the replacement door handle for your dryer. It is made of white plastic and measures about 2 ½ inches long and 4 inches wide. The door handle allows you to open and close the dryer door. If it is cracked, damaged, or missing, this is the part that will replace it. Many of our customers rated this repair easy, as the new handle should simply snap into place. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Upper front felt seal (upper felt seal)

This part is the replacement upper front felt seal for your dryer. It is made of felt and is approximately 17 inches long and 1 inch wide. The felt seal allows the drum to glide smoothly on the front panel. If your dryer is noisy, will not tumble, or leaves marks on your clothes after the drying cycle, you may need to replace the upper front felt seal. This part is sold individually, so if you do not have any high-temperature adhesive, you will need to order that as well. Be sure to clean all the residue from your previous felt seal before you install the new one. This ensures a secure fit. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Screw (drum vane screw)

This is a replacement screw for your washer or dryer. The screw is approximately half an inch in length and is a Phillips-head screw. It screws in from the outside of the drum, into the vane/baffle. The main reason you would replace this screw is if the old screw is missing or damaged. This part is sold individually and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Idler arm assembly (idler arm)

Part may differ in color from image. Please note that this is only a cosmetic difference.

Door strike (strike)

The door strike works in conjunction with the dryer door. The male piece of the door strike is the piece that activates the door switch once the dryer door is closed. If your dryer won’t start, or the door won’t open/close, you may need to replace the door strike. This part is made from metal and measures approximately 1 inch. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting your repair.

High temperature adhesive (cement)

The high temperature adhesive is used to create a heat resistant bond between felt seals and rubber gaskets on your appliance. This adhesive is made to withstand hot temperatures. This tube contains one ounce of adhesive. Before starting your repair, it is recommended to wear gloves and ensure that your working area is clean and dry.
