Dryer heater element (heater)

This 3-coil 5500 watts heating element with housing is used to produce heat to dry the clothes in your dryer. The heating element is strung with a coiled wired. The wire receives, but resists a controlled electric current causing the wire to heat up to dry your clothes. If there is no heat or it is taking too long to dry, you may need to replace the heating element. Check for a blown thermal fuse or thermal cut off. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting the repair.

High limit thermostat (high-limit thermostat)

The two-terminal high limit thermostat has a limit of 260 degrees Fahrenheit and acts as a safety mechanism that keeps the dryer from overheating. The thermostat will cut out when the internal dryer temperature reaches 260 and then cuts back in when the temperature drops by 70 degrees Fahrenheit. If your dryer is not heating, you may need to replace the thermostat. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting your repair.

Lint filter (filter)

This gray lint filter is used to collect lint and debris as it passes through the dryer vent. It is recommended to clean the lint filter before every load to clear the air flow through the lint filter. If your dryer takes too long to dry or the lint filter becomes damaged, you may need to replace the filter. This lint filter measures 14” wide and 11” high. This is a genuine OEM part.

Screw (drum vane screw)

This is a replacement screw for your washer or dryer. The screw is approximately half an inch in length and is a Phillips-head screw. It screws in from the outside of the drum, into the vane/baffle. The main reason you would replace this screw is if the old screw is missing or damaged. This part is sold individually and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Dryer drum roller kit (roller)

The dryer drum support roller with clip helps hold the drum in place while the drum rotates on the support wheels. Over time the bearings can wear out, causing them to make a squeaking sound while the dryer drum turns. The manufacturer recommends replacing both rollers at the same time. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting this repair. This is an OEM part.

Washer screw (screw)

This part is the replacement screw for your washer. The head is approximately inch in diameter and the screw is approximately 3/4 inch in length. It is made of metal and is sold individually. This is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Thermal fuse (limiter)

High temperature adhesive (cement)

The high temperature adhesive is used to create a heat resistant bond between felt seals and rubber gaskets on your appliance. This adhesive is made to withstand hot temperatures. This tube contains one ounce of adhesive. Before starting your repair, it is recommended to wear gloves and ensure that your working area is clean and dry.

Thermal fuse (limiter)

This non-reset-able flush mounted thermal fuse shuts off the power to the motor if the dryer over heats. If the fuse is blown you will need to replace it since it can not be reset.
