Rack track stop (stop)

This gray rack track stop is used for your upper dish rack track to prevent the rack from sliding off the slide rail. If your rack is falling off the track, you may need to replace the track stop. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Dishwasher heating element (heater element)

The heating element is used to create heat during the dry cycle and increase water temperature during portions of the wash cycle when certain options are selected. If your dishes are not drying or the water in the dishwasher is not getting hot you may need to replace the element. This kit includes the heater, two heater fasteners, and is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power before starting the repair.

Silverware basket

This is a basket for washing flatware or silverware in your dishwasher. This part has been updated and may differ in appearance but will function the same as the original.

Mounting bracket

The mounting bracket is used to attach the dishwasher to the underside of the counter. The mounting bracket holds the dishwasher in place to keep it from moving during cycles and to keep the dishwasher level. The bracket is made of metal and is approximately 3” in length. The screws are not included with the bracket, they must be ordered separately. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power and the water supply to the dishwasher before starting the repair.

Dishwasher door gasket with strike - black (gasket)

This one-piece door gasket provides a water tight seal between the tub and the door, to keep water from leaking out of your dishwasher. If your dishwasher is leaking, tears, or there are gaps in your gasket, you may need to replace the door gasket. This black door gasket is made of rubber, includes a new latch strike plate for the door latch, and is a genuine OEM part.

Tine pivot

This tine pivot clip helps hold the tine row in place on your dish rack. If your clip is broken or cracked, you should replace it. This clip is made from plastic and is a genuine OEM part. It is sold individually.

Water inlet valve (inlet valve)

This water inlet valve should be located behind the lower kickplate panel in either the right or left corner. The attaching solenoids on the valve open and close according to the desired amount of water needed.

Lower dishrack (dishrack)

This genuine OEM Whirlpool lower dishrack is used to hold the dishes in place during the operation of the cycles. The lower rack is gray in color and includes the rack only. You can remove the rollers from the old rack and use them on the new dish rack.

Tine row

The tine row is located on the lower dishrack. The tine row can be raised or lowered to provide more room in the lower dishrack. Over time the tine row can become rusted, damaged, or lost, and will need to be replaced. The manufacturer has updated the tine row, it may look different but it will still fit like the original. This part measures approximately 19 1/2” long and is made of metal. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Bi-metal fuse (fuse)

This part is used as a safety device to protect the dishwasher circuit from overload. If the temperature gets to high it will shut off the electrical current to the heating unit in the appliance. Also known as Thermal Fuse.

Friction sleeve

The friction sleeve helps to reduce friction between the door hinge and the door and to keep your door quiet when it opens and closes. This part is a little over an inch long and is black in color. It is sold individually.

Door gasket (gasket)

The door gasket provides a water tight seal, between the tub and the door, to keep water from leaking out of your dishwasher. If the dishwasher is leaking you may need to replace the door gasket. This black door gasket is made of rubber and is a genuine OEM part.

Rubber washer (heater terminal nut)

The black heating element washer goes between the heating element and the dishwasher tub to form a seal where the element attaches to prevent water from leaking during its cycle. If the washer goes bad it will cause water to leak out on to the floor. This part is made of rubber, measures approximately 1” in diameter and is sold individually. This is a genuine OEM part.

Spinner kit (spinner)

The water feed tube spinner is also called the 3rd-level spinner. It is located at the top inside the dishwasher tub. This part works like a little spray arm at the top of your dishwasher that distributes water across the top dish rack to help clean the dishes below. If your dishes are not being cleaned properly, or the spray arm is not spraying water, it could be clogged or damaged and will need to be replaced. This spinner is white in color, made of plastic and is a genuine OEM part.
