Handle screw (handle stopper)

This handle screw, also known as a mounting bolt, is a mounting screw to help secure the door handle to your refrigerator door. If your handle is loose, you may just need to tighten the screw. If your screw is missing or broken, it may need to be replaced. There are multiple handle screws on your fridge, please consider ordering extra as they commonly wear at the same rate. This is about 1 inch long and metallic in color.

Water inlet valve assembly (valve asy,wa)

This includes the primary and secondary valves along with the wire harness.

Push button switch (push switch)

This is a genuine replacement switch. It is a push button style switch that is designed for use in your refrigerator. When the door of your appliance is opened the switch is released, and the light comes on. When you close the door the switch is pressed in, and the light turns off. You may need a putty knife to remove your old switch.

Evaporator fan motor (motor)

This 13-volt evaporator fan motor helps circulate air over the refrigerator coils. These coils will then convert the heat into cool air, which is then circulated from the freezer section to the fresh food section. If the fresh food section is too warm or the motor has failed, you will need to replace the evaporator fan motor. It is suggested to replace the thermistor when replacing the evaporator fan. The fan motor is in the freezer section of the refrigerator, and includes the harness and plug. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting your repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

Compressor (lf)

This part must be installed by a licensed and trained LG technician that is able to perform a software update, which is required for the installation of this compressor. Part number CJT30000002 is needed to perform the update. Also, the three pins on the side of the new compressor may be oriented differently than the original. If different, when installing the new compressor the compressor electrical connector must be rotated 45 degrees counter-clockwise.
