The door latch hook works in conjunction with your microwave door and the door switches by keeping the microwave door closed during operation. The microwave will not operate if the door is not closed. The door latch hook is made of plastic, black in color, measures 7 1/2” and has a double hook latch. If your door won’t stay closed the hook may be damaged and will need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure to disconnect the power to the microwave before starting the repair.
