This genuine Whirlpool water filter is used in your refrigerator to help reduce contaminants that may be in your household water supply. The water filter measures 2 1/2” in diameter and 10 1/2” long and is in the filter housing inside of your refrigerator. It is recommended to replace the water filter every 6 months for best performance. This water filter will fit all Whirlpool and KitchenAid refrigerators with a water filter located in the base grill below the door. Also, for Kenmore models starting with 106. Filters for taste and odor, sediment, chlorine, lead.
