The ice maker fill tube is used to supply water to the ice maker during the fill cycle and is located in the back wall of your refrigerator/freezer. The fill tube is 10-inches long and includes a compression nut and a tube insert. If the fill tube is cracked or leaking water you will need to replace it. This part is white in color, made of plastic, and is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power and shut off the water supply before starting your repair.

The Ice Maker Water Fill Tube Kit was exactly the part I needed for our Kenmore Coldspot refrigerator (52542101). Where this fill tube connects to the water line coming up from the valve assembly it is vulnerable to being pressed against the wall when the refrigerator is pushed back. The connector on our 19 year old refrigerator broke and started leaking when the ice maker called for water. This replacement kit made the repair easy. To keep the new tube from suffering the same fate I glued a 7/8 inch foam block to the back of the refrigerator to keep the tube from hitting the wall.
