The rack wheel and axle attach to the lower rack to allow you to slide the rack in and out easily. If your dish rack is not moving in and out of the dishwasher properly, you may have a broken or missing wheel and it will need to be replaced. The wheel and axle are white in color, made of plastic, and sold individually. This is a genuine OEM part kit.
