I was concerned when I opened the box to find a black part with a different wiring harness. A little research found that Whirlpool has redesigned the part. It fit perfectly where the old one was and when I turned the machine on it worked perfectly. Thank you for sending the updated part.

The part worked, but curved plastic piece below the plug-in connector blocked the other connector. The angle and depth wouldn't allow the connector in. Maybe I just wasn't seeing it because I'm not experienced. I cut the plastic piece off to get the connector in and it works.
