Easy fix

I originally ordered only the knob thinking because it was broken that that would be the fix. Turns out that both were bad. In the process I actually learned how the switch is held in place. It’s the friction on the shaft that supports the switch and a small protruding tab that keeps the switch from rotating. When I first looked at it appeared broken but I now appreciate the genius and simplicity of the design.
