Drum bearing slide - white (sold individually) (bearing-slide *)

This single white drum bearing slide attaches to the outer-most sides of the bearing to help support the front of the drum as it rotates. If your dryer is making loud noises or the drum will not tumble, you many need to replace the slides. The manufacturer recommends replacing both slides at the same time; there are 2 slides per dryer. Dryer thermal fuse (one time use thermal fuse)

This thermal fuse is used in dryers as a safety mechanism that stops the flow of electricity to the motor circuit when a dryer overheats. This replacement part features two 3/16 inch terminals, and is sold individually. When this fuse is faulty, your dryer will not start or it will not heat properly. This is a one-time fuse, meaning it cannot be re-set. It must be replaced when there is no longer continuity between the terminals. It attaches to the blower wheel housing. This 240V/5400W heating element is strung with a coiled wire made of a nickel and a chrome alloy. This wire receives, but resists, a controlled electric current, causing the wire to heat up.
