Plate assembly,front (refrigerator door mullion.)

This is a replacement mullion rail for your French door-style refrigerator. You will typically find the mullion rail on the left side refrigerator door. The mullion rail helps to keep the refrigerator door closed. If the door will not close properly or if you notice leaking on your floor, you may need to replace the door mullion. A faulty mullion can gather moisture, resulting in a leak. To replace the mullion, simply disconnect the old mullion from the wire harness and unscrew it. Re-attach the wire harness to the mullion and screw it back into place.

Water inlet valve assembly

This includes the primary and secondary valves along with the wire harness.

Door holder

This is a manufacturer-approved refrigerator door closure for your refrigerator. It is made of white plastic and measures approximately 3 inches by 2 inches. If your old closure is damaged, your refrigerator door may not open and shut properly, and therefore it should be replaced.

Evaporator fan motor

This 13-volt evaporator fan motor helps circulate air over the refrigerator coils. These coils will then convert the heat into cool air, which is then circulated from the freezer section to the fresh food section. If the fresh food section is too warm or the motor has failed, you will need to replace the evaporator fan motor. It is suggested to replace the thermistor when replacing the evaporator fan. The fan motor is in the freezer section of the refrigerator, and includes the harness and plug. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting your repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

The water reservoir holds the water for the water dispenser as the water chills.

Compressor

This part must be installed by a licensed and trained LG technician that is able to perform a software update, which is required for the installation of this compressor. Part number CJT30000002 is needed to perform the update. Also, the three pins on the side of the new compressor may be oriented differently than the original. If different, when installing the new compressor the compressor electrical connector must be rotated 45 degrees counter-clockwise.
