Handle screw (door handle mounting post)

This handle screw, also known as a mounting bolt, is a mounting screw to help secure the door handle to your refrigerator door. If your handle is loose, you may just need to tighten the screw. If your screw is missing or broken, it may need to be replaced. There are multiple handle screws on your fridge, please consider ordering extra as they commonly wear at the same rate. This is about 1 inch long and metallic in color.

Refrigerator Air Filters are a key component for neutralizing odors and ensuring a fresh stream of air into your refrigerator. Swapping your old filter out for a fresh one isn’t difficult and should take less than five minutes. This OEM filter measures approximately 3 inches (length) x 3 inches (height) x 5 inches (Depth). Air filters should be changed every 6 months depending on usage.

Door holder

This is a manufacturer-approved refrigerator door closure for your refrigerator. It is made of white plastic and measures approximately 3 inches by 2 inches. If your old closure is damaged, your refrigerator door may not open and shut properly, and therefore it should be replaced.

Push button switch (switch,push button)

This is a genuine replacement switch. It is a push button style switch that is designed for use in your refrigerator. When the door of your appliance is opened the switch is released, and the light comes on. When you close the door the switch is pressed in, and the light turns off. You may need a putty knife to remove your old switch.

Ice maker assembly - 3 wire (refrigerator icemaker assembly. Be aware the secondary or smaller wire connector has 3 wires in it. If original icemaker has a 6 wire connector see it)

NOTE: The Secondary (smaller) wire connector has 3 wires in it. If original ice maker has 6 wire connector see part number AEQ73110205. Please verify connector before ordering.

The water reservoir holds the water for the water dispenser as the water chills.

Compressor (replacement compressor)

This part must be installed by a licensed and trained LG technician that is able to perform a software update, which is required for the installation of this compressor. Part number CJT30000002 is needed to perform the update. Also, the three pins on the side of the new compressor may be oriented differently than the original. If different, when installing the new compressor the compressor electrical connector must be rotated 45 degrees counter-clockwise.
