Handle screw (door handle mounting post)

This handle screw, also known as a mounting bolt, is a mounting screw to help secure the door handle to your refrigerator door. If your handle is loose, you may just need to tighten the screw. If your screw is missing or broken, it may need to be replaced. There are multiple handle screws on your fridge, please consider ordering extra as they commonly wear at the same rate. This is about 1 inch long and metallic in color.

Refrigerator door switch (refrigerator door or freezer drawer switch)

The light switch lights up the interior cabinet of the refrigerator or freezer when the door is opened. If you open the door and the light won’t come on, or the light is always on, you may need to replace the light switch. The switch is white in color and measures approximately 2 1/2”. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power before starting the repair.

Plastic tube - 5/16 inch (plastic tube, 5/16")

The 5/16” plastic water tubing attaches to the water inlet valve and goes into the refrigerator. The tubing supplies water to the water dispenser and the ice maker. If the tubing becomes damaged or cracked, it can cause water to leak out onto the floor and the water tubing will need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power and water supply before starting the repair.

Refrigerator water filter (LG premium ice and water replacement filter. This is a chemical and mechanical reduction filter, scale inhibitor included. Capacity 300 gallons.)

This OEM filter measures 2.5 inches deep, 12.5 inches high, 5 inches wide and roughly 1.5 lbs. It is recommended to replace this filter every six months or 300 gallons, whichever comes first. If you notice an unpleasant taste in your water or it suddenly dispenses much slower, these are also common indications that a replacement is necessary. It filters sediment, dirt, rust, cysts, lead, mercury, and more. For proper use, operating pressure should be 30-120 PS, operating temperature should be 33-100 degrees Fahrenheit, with a flow rate of 0.5 gallons per minute. Installation is quick and easy and does not require the use of tools.

Ice maker assembly (refrigerator icemaker assembly. If the icemaker is not making ice, make sure the freezer is cold enough to cycle the icemaker (zero degrees fahrenheit)

The wire harness is NOT available separately. Refrigerator ice maker kit AEQ36756901 is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part that fits some refrigerators in these series: Kenmore 795; Kenmore Elite 795; and LG LFX, LMX and LSC. Ice maker AEQ36756901 receives water from the water inlet, holds the water in the ice mold until the water freezes solid and then automatically ejects the ice and refills to continue the process until the ice storage in is full. This ice maker kit contains the complete ice maker, housing and control device.

This includes the primary and secondary valves along with the wire harness.

Door gasket - left side (refrigerator door gasket)

This door gasket assembly is for the left refrigerator door. The gasket attaches on the inner door panel to create a seal around the door to keep the cool air inside and avoid the warm air from entering. If your gasket is torn or no longer sealing the door it will need to be replaced. This gasket is gray in color, made of rubber and measures 18” x 40”. To smooth the creases and folds in the new gasket, soak it in warm water and let it dry. You can also try carefully warming it with a hair dryer or heat on a low setting, but be careful not to melt the gasket. This is a genuine OEM part.

Refrigerator light board assembly (led light assembly)

This light board is located behind the light lens and has LED lights that illuminate the interior of the refrigerator compartment when the door is opened.

The door latch cam, also known as a hinge lever, latches the door when you close it. The latch cam attaches to the left side flipper seal cover to catch the pivot guide in the refrigerator to keep the doors closed. This part is approximately 2 1/2” long, white in color, made of plastic and is for the left side. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Evaporator fan motor

This 13-volt evaporator fan motor helps circulate air over the refrigerator coils. These coils will then convert the heat into cool air, which is then circulated from the freezer section to the fresh food section. If the fresh food section is too warm or the motor has failed, you will need to replace the evaporator fan motor. It is suggested to replace the thermistor when replacing the evaporator fan. The fan motor is in the freezer section of the refrigerator, and includes the harness and plug. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting your repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

Door gasket - black (refrigerator door gasket)

This door gasket is used to make an air-tight seal for the cabinet when the door is closed.
