Ice maker (refrigerator icemaker kit, the kit includes the fill cup, 4 pin wire harness adapter, and tube.)

This ice maker assembly is used to make ice in your refrigerator. The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve and will freeze until ice cubes are formed. Once the water has been frozen the cubes will be ejected from the mold into the ice bucket. The ice maker will continue the process until the ice bucket has reached the limit. If your ice maker is not making ice you may need to replace this part. This kit includes the fill cup, 4-pin wire harness adapter, and a tube. Disconnect the power and water supply before starting your repair. This ice maker is a genuine OEM part.

Light switch (refrigerator light switch. This switch activates the refrigerator light when the door is open. It also prevents the dispenser from working if the door)

The refrigerator light switch turns the interior light off and on when you open or close the refrigerator door. The light switch also prevents the front dispenser from working if the refrigerator door is opened. If the switch has shorted out or the light bulb is not turning on when the door is open, you may need to replace the switch. This switch is white in color and measures approximately 1 1/2” L x 1 1/4” W. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting the repair.

Lid bumper (bumper)

This orange rubber bumper prevents the condenser fan motor from bumping against the mounting bracket every time the fan motor starts. If your refrigerator/freezer is noisy, the bumper could be worn down or missing, and the sound could be a result of the motor scraping the side bracket. You will find it between the fan motor and the side bracket on the evaporator fan motor assembly. It has a rounded top and a slightly pointed bottom. The bumper is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Light bulb - 40w (40 watt clear appliance bulb)

This 40-Watt light bulb is sold individually and is a genuine OEM replacement option for your home appliances. It is specially designed to withstand extreme temperatures, so this bulb is compatible with a variety of appliance types including refrigerators, ranges, microwaves, and dryers. It features a frosted glass bulb with a standard metal socket base, which allows you to easily unscrew the burnt-out light and twist the new bulb into place. Depending on your appliance, there may be a guard or cover protecting the lightbulb, in which case you may require additional tools to remove the cover. We recommend disconnecting the power supply to your appliance before changing the lightbulb.

Condenser fans blade assembly (condenser fan blade)

The condenser fan blade assembly helps to regulate the temperature in your refrigerator or freezer. This fan assembly has 4 blades, but other fans may have 3 blades, so be sure to check the number of blades on your fan. The fan blade is made of white plastic and is approximately 6 inches in diameter. If your freezer section is too warm, or you notice a strange noise coming from your refrigerator when it is running, you may need to replace the condenser fan blade assembly. This part is sold individually.

Package of 12 screws (screws, pkg of 12.)

This is a package of twelve Phillips-head screws. They can be used as replacement screws in refrigerators, ice makers, or freezers. Be sure to check that your appliance model is compatible with these screws. The screws are approximately ¾ of an inch in length.

This OEM filter is sold individually. Change your filter every 6 months for the best results. This filter is found in top-freezer and bottom-freezer refrigerators located in the back upper right corner. It measures 4.75-Inches deep, 9.5-Inches high, and 5.25-Inches wide. It is certified to reduce particles, chlorine-resistant cysts, lead and five other impurities. The pressure requirement is 40-120 PSI (if yours exceeds this, you?ll need to install a pressure-timing valve), and the operating temperature needs to be 33-100 degrees Fahrenheit. It filters down to 0.5-1 microns. The installation is simple and does not require any tools or mess. To remove the old cartridge, turn it to the left and pull down carefully. Some water might drip, so keep a cloth handy. To install the new filter, place it into the cartridge holder and turn to the right until it will no longer turn. If you have a top-freezer model it should be situated vertically, and if it is a bottom-freezer model, it should be placed horizontally. Be careful not to over-tighten. If your model has a replacement indicator light, reset it by pushing and holding it down for three seconds. If your model has a dispenser, run water through it for approximately 3 minutes to clear the system. Please note that this filter will not work in Kenmore brand models.

Ice bucket - white (ice bucket)

The ice container is used to store the ice cubes that have been released from the ice maker in the freezer section until ready to be used. If the container becomes cracked or lost, you will need to replace the container. The container is white in color, made of plastic and measures approximately 12”L x 10”W. This is a genuine OEM part.

Door hinge nylon washer (hinge washer)

This is the replacement hinge washer for your refrigerator. The hinge washer is mounted on the top of the door hinge pin, and supports the refrigerator door, allowing it to open and close easily. The main reason you would need to replace the hinge washer is if it is worn out, causing the refrigerator door to be more difficult to open and close. You may also hear an unpleasant noise when you open your refrigerator door. The washer is a little less than an inch in diameter and is sold individually. This is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Fresh food door gasket (door gasket, refrigerator)

This white fresh food door gasket is used to seal the refrigerator door when closed to keep the cool air inside and the room air out.

Compressor start relay (compressor relay)

This part is the replacement compressor start relay for your refrigerator. It is made of black plastic and is approximately 1 ¼ inches long and 1 inch wide. The compressor start relay attaches to the compressor and helps to start the compressor motor. If the compressor will not start, or if your refrigerator or freezer is too warm, you may need to replace the compressor start relay. This part is sold individually.
