The burner knob allows you to control the heat temperature of the burner element on the cooktop or range. If the knob becomes cracked or damaged, you should replace the part. You can remove the knob by pulling it right off the burner switch shaft. The knob is stainless steel in color, measures approximately 2” in diameter and is sold individually. This is a genuine OEM part.
