Air duct bracket

This bracket holds the metal or plastic flapper that closes off the exhaust duct when the fan is not running and opens when the fan turns on. If the exhaust fan on your microwave does not appear to be working, the problem may be with the damper assembly. If the damper does not open and close easily, check for any damage to the bracket, and replace if it is damaged or faulty. This genuine OEM exhaust damper measures approximately 12 inches long by 5 inches wide.

Micro switch (switch,micro)

The interlock door switch, also known as a micro switch, will prevent the microwave from operating if the door is open. This switch has been updated by the manufacturer. It may appear different in appearance but will still function as the original part. This part has a green button and measures approximately a little over an inch long. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the microwave before starting the repair.

Switch monitor interlock (switch,micro)

This is the replacement monitor switch for your microwave. It is black in color and measures approximately 1 inch by ¾ of an inch. This switch monitors the door latch position of your microwave and communicates to the electronic control board whether the latch is open or closed. If the switch is damaged, your microwave may not start, even though the door latch is closed. You can check the continuity of the switch by using a multimeter. Be sure to disconnect the microwave from power before you begin this repair.

Damper

The vent damper is used to close off the exhaust duct when the fan is not running, to prevent outside air from entering the microwave. When the fan turns on it allows air to vent away from the microwave. The damper measures approximately 10-inch long by 3-inchwide and is a genuine OEM part.

Turntable assembly

This turntable assembly, also known as a rotating ring, is a genuine OEM replacement part for your microwave. It is brown in color and about 10 inches in diameter. This part supports the glass turntable and keeps it in place. Replacing this part is very easy and requires no tools. Simply remove the glass tray, pop out the existing ring and replace with the new one.

Damper (exhaust damper)

This vent damper is a manufacturer-approved replacement part for your above-range microwave. This part helps vent air from the microwave to the exterior of your home, and helps keep exterior wind out of the vent. Replacing the vent damper will require some disassembly of your microwave/ Unplug the unit before beginning work on it.

Wave guide cover (canopy mica)

This part is used to protect the parts that are located behind the canopy mica.

Thermostat (thermostat- bimetal)

This part will trip once the inside of the cavity overheats and exceeds the recommended temperature.
