The thermal fuse, also known as a safety thermostat, protects the oven range from overheating. If the oven range overheats, the fuse is blown to cut power off to the oven range. Once the fuse has blown, the oven range will no longer heat and the fuse will need to be replaced. The thermal fuse measures approximately 1” and can also be used in a microwave, check your model number. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the appliance before starting the repair.

This line fuse protects the microwave by shutting down if there is an electrical surge. If your microwave is not turning on, you may need to replace the fuse. This part is just over an inch long, metallic on both ends and white ceramic in the middle. Please remember to disconnect power to your microwave before starting your repair. The radiant surface element supplies heat to a cooking area on top of the range. The surface element is located under the main cooktop and It has an outside diameter of approximately 12” and includes the limiter. If the radiant surface element will not heat, you will need to replace it with this part. Before replacing the defective element, make sure the element is cool, and the power is disconnected from your range.

Radiant heater (heater,radiant)

The small radiant surface element with limiter is located under the main cooktop. When the heat temperature is selected, the element will heat up and supply the desire heat to the cooking area on top of the range. If the surface element will not heat, you will need to replace it. It has an outside diameter of approximately 7” and is a genuine OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. Before starting the repair, make sure the element is cool and the power is disconnected from your range.
