Washing machine drain pump (washing machine drain pump. If the washer does not drain then the drain pump may be clogged, damaged, or defective.)

This drain pump motor helps expel water from the washing machine and is activated after the spin speed is maintained for a specific period. If your washer will not drain, is noisy, leaking, or pumps but will not spin, you may need to replace the drain pump motor. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to shut off the water supply and disconnect the power to the washer before starting your repair. Note: Pump casing is not included.

Water inlet valve - hot (washer hot water inlet valve. Standard hose fitting inlet, 1 water outlet. The water inlet valve opens to allow water to enter the washing machine.)

The hot water inlet valve is located on the back of the washer and it helps control the amount of water that enters into the washer. The valve has a standard hose fitting inlet, 1 water outlet, 120 volts and 6 watts. If the washer is filling slowly or not at all, the solenoid may have gone bad and you will need to replace the inlet valve. The valve measures approximately 3” L x 2 3/4” W. Please remember to disconnect the water and power to the washer before starting the repair. This is a genuine OEM hot water inlet valve.

Water inlet valve - cold (washer cold water inlet valve assembly. Three solenoids)

This valve is used for cold water, bleach dispenser, and prewash cycles. It has a standard hose fitting inlet with 2 outlets facing 45 degrees to the right and one outlet facing 45 degrees to the left. The water inlet valve opens to allow the water to enter the washing machine. If your washer will not fill with water, is leaking, or will not stop filling with water, you may need to replace the valve. Please remember to disconnect the power to your washer, remove the fill hoses on the back and pull out the washer to have access to the back before you start your repair. Spider (rear flange (also called a spider) and shaft for washing machine drum. This part supports the dryer drum.)

The spider, or rear tub support, is located behind the outer tub of your washer, and provides support to the outer tub. It has 3 legs and each measures approximately 10 inches long. Gasket (rear shaft seal at outer tub)

This genuine OEM drum seal gasket prevents water from leaking between the outer tub and spin basket of your washer. It is made of black rubber and measures 2.5 inches in diameter. Washer hose with bellows (bellows)

This washer hose with bellows, also known as a dispenser hose, is a genuine OEM replacement part for your washer. Replacing this part can be helpful if your washer is leaking. The dispenser hose connects the dispenser assembly to the tub. Before beginning the repair, unplug the washer and turn off the water supply. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver to complete this repair; a clamp tool can also be helpful. Remove the screws holding the lid of the washer in place, and take off the lid. Locate the dispenser hose and remove its clamps. Place the clamps on the new hose, using the arrows for a guide in positioning the clamps. Install the new hose and reassemble all other parts.

Ball bearing

This bearing, or ball, is a genuine OEM replacement part for your washer. The bearing allows the tub to rotate smoothly. Pump filter (washing machine filter and trap assembly.)

This replacement pump filter, also known as a filter assembly, is a genuine OEM part for your washer or washer/dryer combo. Before beginning this repair, turn off the power and water supply to your washer. The filter assembly may need to be replaced because it is broken or is leaking water. To locate the filter assembly, pry open the small door on the front of the washer, using a flat-blade screwdriver. Unplug the drain hose next to the filter and drain the water into a bucket. Then unscrew the pump filter, and replace with your new one.

Cap,drain hose

This drain hose plug, also known as a hose cap, is a genuine OEM part for your washing machine. This plug caps the drain hose from the pump housing, and helps prevent leaks from your washer. Before beginning this repair, make sure the power and water sources to your washer are shut off. To access the pump housing, open the pump filter cover, pull out the drain hose, remove the old plug and replace it, first draining the remaining water from the drain hose.

Clamp

The hose clamp works in conjunction with the water hose in the appliance by holding the water hose in place to keep the hose from leaking water on to the floor. If you notice your appliance leaking, you may have a crack in the hose or that the clamp is loose and will need to be replaced.
