Light bulb - 40w

This part is the exterior replacement light bulb, with a small screw base, for your microwave. If your light bulb is burnt out, it will not be able to do this, and will need to be replaced. Before you change the bulb, be sure to check that the light socket still works, as it may need to be replaced as well. This bulb is 40 watts, is sold individually and is a genuine OEM part. Remember to disconnect the microwave from the power source before you begin this repair.

Charcoal filter

The charcoal filter is used to eliminate odors while cooking from that air that circulates through the vent. The filter measures approximately 5-inch by 5-inch and is sold individually. This is a genuine OEM part.

Grease filter

The grease filter collects grease particles in the air from cooking. It measures approximately 13 inches by 6 inches, is silver in color and is sold individually. Most microwaves require two filters. This grease filter is a genuine OEM part.

Mounting plate

Door switch - 3 terminal

This three-terminal switch is located behind the front panel of your microwave. When the door closes it will make contact with the door hook and allow the microwave to turn on. This part is mostly black in color and is about 1.5 inches with metal terminals. You might need to replace this part if your microwave is not heating properly, will not turn on or if it runs for a few seconds but turns off. This door switch is a genuine OEM part. It is recommended to disconnect the power to your microwave before you start your repair.

Microwave glass turntable tray (microwave turntable tray)

The turntable tray rotates in the centre of the microwave to help ensure the food cooks evenly.

Light socket

The light socket in your microwave houses the light bulb and connects it to the power source. The light bulb will screw into it, so the light bulb will be held in place. Be very careful when installing this part, and be sure to consult your manual before you begin this repair.

Microwave door interlock switch

Insert the new coupling into the motor shaft.
