The bake element is located on the bottom of the oven cavity to supply heat for baking. The element terminals are male quarter inch spade connectors and have push-on wire terminals. If your oven is not heating evenly, the element will not heat, or there is little to no heat when baking, you may need to replace the element. This is a genuine OEM bake element. Please remember to disconnect the power to your oven before you start your repair.

This surface burner terminal block kit comes with interchangeable mounting brackets, ceramic wire nuts, heat shrink protective tubing and wires. This part is used to connect the wire harness to the surface burner element. The 6” radiant cooking element with limiter fits under the glass cooktop and supplies heat to the cooking area. If your element is not heating, you can test the element for continuity with a multimeter. If the element doesn’t have continuity you will need to replace the element. If it doesn’t have continuity it is suggested to check the element switch because it could be defective and need to be replaced. This element is 1200 watts and is a genuine OEM part. The manufacturer suggests making sure the cooking element is cooled before starting the repair. Please remember to disconnect the power to the appliance before starting the repair.

When replacing the element, make sure to hold the wires forward so the wires do not fall back through the rear of the oven.
