This Whirlpool OEM 2400-watt bake element has push-on terminals and is located on the bottom of the oven cavity. The bake element supplies heat while baking. If the oven is not heating properly the bake element may have burned out. If the element has burned out there would be visible damage such as holes, cracks, or blisters. When replacing the element, do not allow the wires to fall back through the rear of the oven. Disconnect the power to the range before starting your repair.

The bake element is located on the bottom of the oven cavity to supply heat for baking. The element terminals are male quarter inch spade connectors and have push on wire terminals. This element measures 19 inches wide by 20 inches long, including the terminals. If the bake element has arcing, is shorted out, the oven is not heating evenly, or little or no heat when baking, you may need to replace it. When replacing the bake element please make sure you disconnect the power to the range. Make sure you do not let the wires fall back through the rear of the oven. This element has been updated by the manufacturer. New installation screws are required and are sold separately.

The surface burner terminal block kit includes one plastic block, metal bracket, wires, and high-temperature nuts. This part is used to connect the wire harness to the surface burner element. If your element will not heat at all, or if it is not heating properly, it is likely an issue with the terminal block and it will need to be replaced. This part is a genuine OEM part. This 8” plug in style surface burner element provides heat to the cooking surface of your range. The burner element has looped terminal ends, 2600 watts, and a 5-turn. If the burner element is not heating it could be the element or the burner switch. You can use a multimeter to test the element or the switch for continuity. This is a genuine OEM part; the manufacturer recommends replacing the burner receptacle when you replace the surface burner element. Please make sure the power has been disconnected and the element is turned off and had time to cool before starting your repair. This part is sold individually.
